Funk, hip-hop and rock collide in a high-energy double bill featuring the contemporary ensembles Landfall and Ruck at the Knight Center for Music Innovation. Presented Monday, November 2, as part of Frost Music Live’s 2026-2027 season, the concert is part of the Creative American Music Festival and is directed by Brian Russell and Steve Rucker. The two ensembles bring contrasting approaches to contemporary band performance, drawing on groove-driven rhythms, amplified instrumentation and genre-crossing arrangements. The program highlights the collaborative, performance-focused side of Frost’s Creative American Music program while giving student musicians room to explore music rooted in popular and contemporary styles. The concert takes place on the Hormel Innovation Stage. Tickets are $10.

Genre-bending artistry and high-voltage performance take center stage as Doja Cat brings her Tour Ma Vie World Tour to Miami. Performing Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the Kaseya Center, the GRAMMY® Award-winning artist showcases music from her fifth studio album Vie , blending rap, pop and R&B with the theatrical flair that has defined her global success. Known for hits like Paint the Town Red and Say So , Doja Cat pairs bold visuals with dynamic choreography in a show that pushes the boundaries of contemporary pop. Produced by Live Nation, the tour marks her first full-scale international headlining run and one of the year’s most anticipated live performances.
Cabaret-style jazz, R&B classics and big-band energy come together in an intimate Frost School of Music concert at the Knight Center for Music Innovation. The Thursday, November 12 program features two performances, at 7 and 9 p.m., with vocalist Nicole Henry joining the Frost Studio Jazz Band at the Hormel Innovation Stage. Directed by trumpeter Etienne Charles, the concert is part of the Frost School of Music’s 2026-2027 season. Henry is a Miami-based jazz vocalist known for soulful interpretations of the American Songbook, jazz standards, blues and contemporary popular music. Her accolades include a Soul Train Award for Best Traditional Jazz Performance, and her performances often move fluidly between jazz phrasing, R&B feeling and cabaret-style storytelling. Charles, a Trinidad-born trumpeter, composer and Frost faculty member, brings a Caribbean-informed jazz perspective to the program. Paired with the Frost Studio Jazz Band, the evening places Henry’s vocals within a close-up club setting designed to evoke the atmosphere of a classic jazz room in Coral Gables.
Alternative rock band The Neighbourhood returns to the arena stage with a new album and global tour marking their latest chapter. Known for blending moody guitar-driven soundscapes with R&B textures and atmospheric pop, the California group brings its signature aesthetic back to Miami. The Neighbourhood: The Wourld Tour stops at Kaseya Center on Thursday, November 12. The tour supports the upcoming album (((((ultraSOUND))))) , released via Warner Records. New singles including “Private,” “OMG” and “Lovebomb” signal a stripped-back approach that leans into the band’s darker, emotionally charged roots. Formed in 2011, The Neighbourhood broke through with their debut album I Love You. and the multi-platinum hit “Sweater Weather,” later followed by projects such as Wiped Out! and their self-titled third album. Over the years, the band has built a catalog that balances introspection, alt-rock edge and sleek production. The Miami date is part of a worldwide run spanning North America, Europe, Australia and Asia, bringing the band’s immersive live show to arenas across the globe.

Common joins Nu Deco Ensemble for a genre-crossing concert that brings hip-hop, orchestral performance and cinematic songwriting to the Knight Concert Hall. The performance takes place Thursday, November 12 at the Adrienne Arsht Center as part of the 2026-2027 Live at Knight series. Conducted by Sam Hyken, the one-night program features selections from Common’s catalog arranged with Nu Deco’s hybrid orchestral sound. Common’s career spans music, film, television, theater, writing and activism. Since his 1992 debut album Can I Borrow a Dollar? , he has become known for thoughtful lyricism and collaborations across genres, with honors including Grammy, Emmy and Academy Awards. The concert is expected to include songs such as “Love of My Life” and “Glory,” the Oscar-winning song from Selma , along with other fan favorites. Founded in Miami in 2015, Nu Deco Ensemble is known for reimagining orchestral performance through contemporary music, living composers and collaborations with artists across pop, soul, jazz, hip-hop and global music. The ensemble’s past collaborators include Macy Gray, Ben Folds, Jacob Collier, Stephen Marley, Emily King, Bilal, Masego and Luis Fonsi.
Live music, comedy, DJs and visual art spread across multiple Washington Avenue venues for a night highlighting local entertainment and creative culture in Miami Beach. Vibration Series 2026 takes place Saturday, November 14, with participating locations stretching from 5th to 17th streets and programming ranging from hip-hop and bossa nova to saxophone performances, cosplay and live art. Currently announced participants include comedian Lonnie Cox and Miami artist Luis Valle, alongside DJs, bands and additional performers still to be announced. The multi-venue format invites attendees to move between locations throughout the evening, with food and drinks available at participating businesses. Check-in takes place at the World Erotic Art Museum on Washington Avenue. The event is for ages 21 and older.

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Yebba brings her expressive blend of R&B, soul and pop to The Fillmore Miami Beach on the final stop of her fall North American tour. The Monday, November 16 concert follows the release of Jean , her second studio album and the namesake of the 2026 tour. Born Abigail Elizabeth Smith in West Memphis, Arkansas, Yebba first drew wider attention through performances and collaborations before releasing her debut album, Dawn , in 2021. Her distinctive, gospel-rooted vocals have appeared alongside artists including Drake, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson and PJ Morton. Her performance with Morton on “How Deep Is Your Love” earned the pair a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance in 2019. Released in March, Jean follows Dawn with a collection centered on love, personal growth and self-reflection, pairing Yebba’s vocal range with an increasingly personal songwriting approach. The Miami Beach concert concludes the 12-date fall leg of the Jean Tour after stops in Toronto, New York, Washington, Nashville and other North American cities.
