Funk, reggae and Cuban rhythms converge in a live set by Miami-based singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Javier García at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Presented Saturday, January 23 as part of the Live on the Plaza series, García performs with his band on the Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts. A gold-selling artist in multiple countries, García has toured across Europe and the Americas and has shared stages with performers including Nelly Furtado and CeeLo Green. His songwriting credits also include work for Latin pop artists such as Ricky Martin and Paulina Rubio. The Arsht Center performance marks García’s Live on the Plaza debut, with a set combining original music and interpretations of pop songs. Light bites and beverages are available before the concert, with happy hour pricing offered prior to the performance.
